The Artist

Born in Italy in 1997 to a family of Persian artists, Aram Khacheh studied cello and composition at the Florence Conservatory before turning to conducting. He graduated with highest honours from the Brescia Conservatory under Umberto Benedetti Michelangeli and completed postgraduate studies at the Milan Conservatory with Daniele Agiman. He also trained in masterclasses with Gilberto Serembe, Daniele Gatti, Giampaolo Bisanti, and Johannes Schlaefli.

He has conducted ensembles such as Maggio Musicale Fiorentino, I Pomeriggi Musicali, Royal Oman Symphony Orchestra, Orchestra di Padova e del Veneto, Orchestra Sinfonica Siciliana, Sichuan Philharmonic Orchestra, Orchestra della Toscana, Filarmonica Marchigiana, and many more.

His artistic collaborations include soloists Francesca Dego, Klaidi Sahatci, Francesco Manara, Danilo Rossi, Giovanni Sollima, Mario Brunello, Luigi Piovano, Andrea Lucchesini, Wayne Marshall, Richard Galliano, Felix Klieser, Giulio Tampalini, and singers such as Annalisa Stroppa, Luciano Ganci, Veronica Simeoni, Iván Ayón-Rivas.

Recent opera productions include Luce di Lammermoor, Don Pasquale: Il Grande Gioco dell’Amore, Caterina Cornaro at Donizetti Festival; Il brutto anatroccolo (world premiere) at Teatro Coccia; Rossini’s La cambiale di matrimonio, Puccini’s Messa di Gloria, and Bizet/Constant’s La Tragédie de Carmen at Fondazione Teatro Grande Brescia.
